Legendary Nigerian music producer Otu Udofa aka Lemmy Jackson was on

awarded by PMAN/MUSIC-ALIVE for RECOGNITION OF SELFLESS CONTRIBUTION TO THE UPLIFT OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA.

 The award was presented to Lemmy Jackson by AKS Commissioner for Information and Strategy Mr. Charles Udo

at the prestigious Tilapia Island Resort in Abak. Among other recipients of various awards were Prophet Ubokudom, DJ Eddy Moore, Late UdoAbianga and O.A.P Oma.

The award night was electrifying and fun-filled as the crowd was thrilled to performances by the Zigima King (Okoro Jnr) Bright Chimezie with his 14-Man Zigima Band, Fadabasi Effiong, Chief Eddy Emmanuel, King George Emah, Sir Wilker Jackson, Elite Dance Crew, Aby Band, ETI Bass, VDJ Bright and the event was ably anchored by popular TV Presenter Asteroid Bassey.

3. Won the PMAN (Performing Musicians Employers' Association of Nigeria) 'Best Producer of the Year' Award for three consecutive years back to back.

4. Won seven Platinum and Gold disc awards in Polygram (Nig.) Lagos.

5. Produced 15 jingles for the commissioning of AKBC by Governor Idongesit Nkanga and same jingles did win an award as best jingles nationally.

 6. Built the first ever Digital Recording Studio owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government (Millenium Studios) and directed it for 2 years.

7. Received a distinguished 'Son Of The Soil Award' by Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio in 1990.
8. Received Award for Excellence from the Government of Eket Community.
