One of Nigeria's leading private owned tertiary institutions situated in Amorji-Nike area of Enugu State is Caritas University. 

The higher institution which was open to the public in 2005, sits on the former campus of Our Saviour Institute Of Science, Agriculture And Technology (OSISATECH). OSISATECH as it was formerly called has been in existence since 1989
