had to offer, the series was basically designed for PC gamers, only the latest version the Counter Strike Global offensive was cross platform synchronized; which was a little disappointing for gamers on other platforms who wanted to also have a feel of the multiplayer shooting game before the advent of the Counter Strike GO.

Counter (1999): which was remake of the popular PC game Half Life, with
improved graphics and game-play.
Counter strike (2004): Condition Zero, was a follow up to the original Counter Strike game but with even better graphic and solid game play
Counter strike ( Later part of 2004): Source, was designed to launch
Valve in collaboration from with Turtle Rock Studios (Makers of Counter Strike)
new gaming platform called the Source Engine the awesome graphics of the CS
Source which was an enhanced version of the CS Condition Zero (cs co)
Counter Strike (2012): Global Offensive or popularly known as CS GO
took the world by the storm as it was designed to be enjoyed across three
platform Windows, OS X, XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3.
Counter Strike Global Offensive has enjoyed its most follower-ship from
PC Gamers, which is not surprising as PC Gaming is the global gaming trend.
